In the last couple of weeks we have been talking about the importance of not keeping our worries to ourselves. For World Mental Health Day everyone in 3rd to 6th received a copy of the book 'Headbomz' to read and discuss. The idea behind 'Headbomz' is that when we talk to someone and share what is bothering us it always helps. As the ISPCC poster says 'Talking Makes Us Stronger'.
In order to help the boys and girls in our school who might be struggling to voice the things that worry them we have introduced a Worry Box. By placing their worry in the Worry Box, boys and girls can start a difficult conversation that they might not have the words to otherwise. We hope it helps.
