What a road trip we had! Bog Bog and more more. what we didn't realise was how amazing bog really is. From moss to heather, bog cotton to tormentil, gorse to aliens.... what more could we possibly see... oh yes we've forgotten to mention the venomous back swimmers! Thankfully no-one fell into any bog holes. Bog is an amazing habitat for all sorts of lovely little creatures and some not so lovely;y ones. We now understand the importance of looking after this habitat and minding our planet. A great day enjoyed by everyone and a lovely visit to the local shop to top it off. We'd like to thank Ballycroy national park for their wonderful welcome. They were so friendly and accommodating for the whole day and everything was so well prepared and thought out. An excellent local resource that should be utilised to the full.
